When Greendale’s Anthropology class assigns a “Marriage Project,” Jeff Winger and Annie Edison are thrust into a simulated partnership designed to test their compatibility, communication, and ability to navigate life as a couple. What starts as an absurd class assignment—complete with a “marital apartment” classroom and a laundry list of tasks—quickly escalates as Jeff and Annie find themselves in increasingly intimate and revealing situations.
